It's time to announce the winner for the November NewFO Challenge. All of your new projects look great and Yay You! for making time during the busy month of November to start something new. It was fun, wasn't it? So, I generated a number at random and came up with:
#8--Mary C in WA
Congratulations, Mary C! I've sent you an email, so check your inbox.
And to the rest of you, there is one more chance this year to win a needle nanny. We'll be right back here on New Year's Eve to link up with your new projects for December. In December, we'll be playing for the sheep needle nanny:
There was a different needle nanny each month of 2013 and I tried to match needle nanny to month. I guess for the sheep, I was thinking of shepherds tending their flocks by night....or maybe keeping warm with wool.... It doesn't really matter. Just be here on December 31st with your December NewFO projects and we'll give it a go.
Now for this important announcement! (I hope all the hype of this moment doesn't leave you disappointed.)
Some of you with sharp eyes have noticed the new kid in my right side bar. Yes, it's on for another year! (Cue trumpet fanfare.) Back by popular demand for the third year: the 2014 NewFO Challenge! The way I figure it, you can never have enough projects going at any given time. For those of you who might be new to this blog, you can click on that button to see what it's all about.
But here's the important announcement! (I'm starting to lose my voice with all this yelling.) As always, we will kick off the 2014 NewFO season with a special linky party and giveaway on December 15th. That's when you can tell us what new projects you'd like to start in 2014. You can click right here to see my post from last year. Of course, in my usual verbose fashion, I get all organized and go month by month, but you don't have to. The NewFO Challenge is nothing if not loose about its requirements. Just link up with a few new projects you'd like to start in 2014, or get all weird about it and go month by month the way I have done it. Let your time and patience be your guide.
Of course, I'll be ready to bribe you with a special prize chosen at random from those who link up. And if you add my 2014 NewFO Challenge button to your blog, you'll be eligible for a second chance to win. Just grab the code over there in my right side bar and let everyone know that piles of unfinished projects do not intimidate you!
Start thinking about what you'd like to start in 2014 and then be back here on December 15th ready to link up. It's gonna be the best year ever to start a new project or two...or twelve. And remember, in the NewFO Challenge no finishes are ever required.
