Circles arrives later this month.
Today, the Mac Miller Estate announced the release date of their first posthumous album, Circles. The news was revealed through a bittersweet statement on Mac's Intagram page highlighting the importance of the project. Confirmed as a complementary album to 2018 Swimming, Circles is scheduled to arrive on January 17, having been arranged and organized by Mac collaborator Jon Brion.
"By the time he passed away, Mac was in the process of recording his complementary album to Swimming," the statement said. "Two different styles that complement each other - Swim in Circles was the concept." Revealing that Brion worked tirelessly to realize Mac's vision, the publication confirms that all subsequent news around the Circles will be shared through the @ 92tilinfinity account on IG.
Knowing how difficult this must be, we would like to express gratitude to Mac Miller's family and staff for sharing this project. The final statement resonates privately: “We can only imagine where Malcolm was going and appreciate where he was. We hope you take the time to listen. The look on his face when everyone was listening said it all. ”
Look for Circles on January 17th. Rest in peace Mac Miller.
