Are we over metallic leggings yet?

I think every winter, Topshop bring out their blue metallic leggings! It's really funny because I had a pair of these which I had to travel to Dublin to get. I didn't buy them in the right size and as a result I barely ever wore them.
They got destroyed very quickly as Topshop cannot make good leggings especially if they are metallic or wet look. The paint came off and as they were gold - it showed really really badly. I'm still drawn to them though and I am not sure why. The leggings are £20 and come in about three colors including this purple. I'm sure you could get them cheaper somewhere else but these are the only pair I have seen so far....
